Here’s what’s big right now!
They say the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. Not enough people did. So today, our mission can only be to shape a sustainable, greener future. Demanding changes, asking for solutions. There’s always a moment in time when complaining simply isn’t going to be enough. To make changes happen we need people, actions, objectives, facts.

If there’s something we know about restoring and protecting the environment, is that we can’t just sit around waiting for things to happen. We can’t wait for policy makers to acknowledge the problem; we can’t wait for NGOs around the world to take action; we can’t wait for businesses to create sustainable development conditions.
We must create them. We must act. We are the ones who need to make it happen.

According to Nasa, the industrial activities that our modern civilization depends upon have raised atmospheric carbon dioxide levels from 280 parts per million to 414 parts per million in the last 150 years. Research lead by Jean-Francois Bastin of ETH-Zurich, has found that Earth’s ecosystems could support another 2.2 billion acres of forests, 25 percent more forested area than we have now. By planting more than a half trillion trees, we could capture about 205 gigatons of carbon, reducing atmospheric carbon by about 25 percent.
According to "The global tree restoration potential” report published by Science there is enough suitable land to increase the world’s forest cover by one-third without affecting existing cities or agriculture. However, as global temperature rises by as little as 1.5 degrees Celcius, the area available for reforestation could be reduced by a fifth by 2050. The time to reforest is now.
We are at the threshold of a crisis due to climate change, global warming and greenhouse effects. The earth is losing its biodiversity as man-made deforestation has forced an increasing number of animals out of their habitat. According to Professor Gerardo Ceballos, we are heading towards a 6th mass extinction and are in the midst of a “biological annihilation” due to the exploitation of natural resources.
